The Basics

The Studbook Online contains every Horse registered with AMHA. All information is updated quarterly with the last update being January 7th. Each horse has what amounts to their very own individual WEB Page. Pages vary in length depending on number of foals and or show results listed if any. Each page may be broken in up to three charts. The first chart contains horse, sire, dam, breeder, and owner information. The next chart will contain foal and the foal's other parent information if there are any registered foals. If the current horse has placed within the top two of its class in national shows there will be a chart listing the year, class, and result for each occurrence. As you well know in the Internet world an underline represents a hyper-link. All horses names are linked to there respective pages. To see all registered foals of a horse simply scroll down the page. To go to a foals page simple click on the foal's name. Likewise clicking on the sire or dam name will transport you to there respective pages. This makes tracing a pedigree as simple as clicking a mouse. All show results are linked in a similar fashion. The name of a horse with qualifying show titles will always be in italics. Clicking on the year of any show result will put you in the show results chart sorted by class and year. This chart displays ten records at a time and the show record you were on will be within that ten. To see more qualifying show results simply click on 'Previous' or 'Next'. To go back to horse pages simply click on the name of the horse want to see. To get from the 1996 National Grand Champion Senior Mare to the 1996 National Grand Champion Senior Stallion is a matter of just two clicks of the mouse.

Subscription Types

Non-member Unlimited
	Same as Member Unlimited, for people who are not current members of AMHA.
Member Unlimited
	Unlimited access means that during the course of the year you may use the studbook and access as many Horses as you wish. You many not, however, distribute your Login ID and password to any one else. Concurrent logins (two or more computers at same time)are prohibited and may result in loss of privileges.
Member Limited
	Access is limited by number of hits. A hit is defined as follows. Each time an individual Horse's WEB page is accessed that access is considered a hit. Following a link from one Horse's WEB page to another Horse's WEB page is a hit. Going from the Show Results chart to a Horses page is a hit. A hit is not charged for scrolling up and down to view same page in its entirety or for using the FIND and DIRECTORY functions to locate an Individual Horse's WEB page or inside the Show Results chart using the Previous and Next buttons. Subscriber may upgrade from 'Limited Access' to 'Unlimited Access' for an additional $50.00 at any time during the year. Anniversary date will however remain unchanged.
Show Pass
	To be used at shows or sales. Allows multiple concurrent logins. Restricted to a few days in length.

Signing Up

To get signed up, use the "SIGN-UP FORM" option on Studbook WEB page. Complete this form and send in with payment. Your account should be active within one business day of AMHA receiving payment. Anniversary date will be one year from date account is made active. Payments may be made by check or credit card (Visa or Master Card only). To pay by check, select the mail in option on sign-up form, and send in the printed subscription form with check to the address below. For those wishing to pay via credit card you may fax or mail in the printed subscription form. Please select the (mail-in or fax) option on sign-up form accordingly. Credit card uses, after printing form, please hand print in your name as it appears on credit card along with account number and expiration date in the space provided. Owners of the current printed AMHA Studbook will receive a $25.00 credit on yearly subscriptions. Please check appropriate box on sign-up form for this credit.
